updates and FYI

Just to let you know we do not have anything yet for the studio. Once I know we have stuff I will be setting up a meeting. Once I hear from ASB we will need a few people to bring cameras so we can film the summer check in video. I really want us to do a better job with audio this year so if anyone has good quality microphones let me know so we can borrow them until we get our own. Now that I am teaching summer school the next couple of weeks will be busy for me but I will need to meet with officers and anchors to go over some beginning of the school year stuff. I will let you know a date we can meet once I know my schedule better.

 I have been talking to Banana Graphics on the design of our t-shirt through email so once I have some art work to show you, I will. I am hoping they give us a couple of options then we will vote and order it. For this t-shirt you will need to purchase it since we do not have any funds, usually the shirts are around $10. Thank you Mrs. Wolfe for setting up the taping of the show but we just could not get enough people to go so we will have to try it another time or something different to earn money. We need to be creative and earn some money so we don't have to purchase everything out of our own pockets. I would like us to wear the shirt during the first or second week of school and maybe at summer check-in (I know ASB kids will be wearing the ASB shirt so don't worry). I will need a few students for summer check-in but I don't know yet how many. 

We will not meet this week but I would like to have a meeting next week in the afternoon first with officers and anchors. Once we get closer to school starting we will have a mandatory meeting and a run through on how the first couple of days will go for the live Rio TV show. 

The Rio Norte Showcase video will be put on the web site and for any families that don't have internet we will give them a cd at check in. We won't make enough for everyone but we will give them a handout showing how to access the video on the web site. Students working on the video please email me the progress of the video. I will need to see what you have so far so send me what you have either this week or next week or one of you can bring it to the meeting next week.
